Jessica Bednarcik
About The Artist
Jessica, an artist with a passion for research, draws inspiration from well-worn philosophy and psychology hardcovers. Exploring the intricacies of human connection and disconnection, she paints evocative images that capture the nostalgia of loneliness and the nuances of loss.
Collaborating with her former high school art teacher, Tony Napoli, Jessica has contributed to various mural projects over the years. From the Yardley mural to Belmont’s Garage mural, the Yardley Tot Lot mural, and the Ashlynn Distillery mural, she has played a key role in planning, sketching, and painting. Notably, Jessica lent her artistic touch to a retro drive-in movie theater scene on the side of a local auto shop. Her aspiration is to continue creating compelling public art murals in Philadelphia and its surrounding areas.
A perpetual learner, Jessica thrives on mastering new processes and trades. She takes pride in crafting her own custom canvases and indulges in diverse activities such as hand embroidery, sewing her own clothes, woodworking, bookbinding, and other endeavors that demand dedication over days, if not weeks.)
